Don't sell youself short, John. It looks really nice. Lets face it, every so often you need to do a quick out-of-the-box build. Looks like you put a wash on the grill? What did you use? And your "KENWORTH" logos on the hood & sleeper look great! What did you do? I've tried dry-brushing them, and they just looked like hell.

John, Looks real damn good to me! I think I may have to get one of these to add to the fleet. I just wish they would put the visors in these kits but hey, I made one for the Snap Pete I guess I can do it again for one of these. The silly thing is Revell puts these drop dead gorgeous horns in these kits and then puts the whole lot of ugly ones in the Germany kits !!! I like this build a lot, thanks for posting it. Paulie

Thanks guys! The Kenworth logos are decals that come with the kit. I used a sharpie marker on the grille. Almost all the black was done with a sharpie. Those makers are great!

Ah, that explains the logos. The older kits didn't have those decals if I remember correctly.
Paulie, so you know (and anyone else that reads this), Gary Walace of G. W. Trucks uses this cab for his Kenworth conversion kits; and he has a visor in those kits. I have his W900S conversion kit. The visor is pretty nice. i bet if you ask him, he'll sell you the visor.

Jim, it's available from Sourkraut. I have one of those, but I think it will take some experimentation to get it on there. Seeing your response makes me think about something. I'm going into my hobby room, and digging out my snap KW kit. I'm going to try and do some more test fitting. I'll let you all know how well it goes. Probably w/pix.

For anyone interested in adding a visor to this kit, go to this thread in the (Kit reviews, tips, and tricks) section.
