This build is 99 % Scratchbuilt, I started with a 34 ford cab add a caddilac hood and fenders to try and replicate an old Federal The rear of the truck is a welding unit , It runs off a an old ford Flathead 8, I made the grille and then cast it in Durham's water putty then weathered it up Thanks for looking

Great build with an interesting subject! Where did you get the idea for the old welding unit? I'd like to try my hand at one!
Thanks

Lived in texas for a spell and seen alot of the one tons with welding units on the back and started thinking what an older one would look like The engine is a flat head 8 cylinder mounted to a tround piece of plastic to replicate a older welding unit. as stated the grille was scratchbuilt and then cast with durhams water putty. The was originally made for a Miniapolis Moline Tractor
Thanks for the comments
