i used these three kits plus the bed from a midnight cowboy kit, with a scratch built front bumper, and some wheels from a dually kit thrown in to build this one. while i was heating the interior tub to fit around the engine i had a bob ross "happy accident" . i burned a hole in through it , but the department of highways came to the rescue . i back dated the grill with some head lights from a 32 ford hotrod kit and used the 428 and exhaust systemfrom the torino kit, the transmission and a couple of lights from the madd mudder, and the rest is kit parts and parts box pieces. almost forgot, i scratch built the tool box to take up the space between the cab and bed, instead of cutting the frame.

Looks pretty good. looks like it has had a few years of duty under it's belt while still kept maintained. I could definately see this truck running around up to the early to mid 80s.

Very cool, I like it a lot. It has a very realistic appearance and your details are great. The toolbox was an awesome idea too.
Did you take the pics on a 1:1 flatbed/roll-back ?
