Some of you will probably recognize me from other forums and online communities. My name is Brian, or Bri for short. I've been modeling for over 30 years now and still enjoy the hobby as much today as I did when I was a kid. I have several likes when it comes to modeling. Big rigs rank right at the top of the list though. I wish I had all the old AMT kits today that I had growing up, that's for sure! I have several truck kits in my collection now, but they are mainly Italeri kits. Those kits are defintiely light years ahead of those old AMT kists, that's for sure. Hopefully I'll be able to add a few more truck kits to my collection in a couple weeks when I'm at the NNL East in Parsippany, New Jersey! I also build Nascar, muscle cars and street rods as well. Anyways, that's a bit about me. I look frward to getting to know all of you as time goes on!

Good Morning !
Looks like I may be the first to arrive. I have been building models since 1963 and trucks since about 1980 I am worse than usual about starting and not finishing. I have a fairly large collection of unbuilts( My wife calls it "The Hoard" ) I am sure we have met on other forums, although I don't get around often.

Hello, my name is Jim, my dad drove truck all his life, I drove for about 8 years, amd the rest of the time i restored antique cars, i got hit by a car about 5 years ago and have been out of work since, that is what got me back into models, I do only semi trucks and trailers, have really been enjoying it and did not realize what i have been missing in the last 25 years.

It's great to have everyone here! I had been kicking around the idea of starting a big rig forum for quite some time but for whatever reason had held off...until today. I woke up this morning and it just hit me so I went ahead and threw this together in a couple hours. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here and seeing the work and efforts put forth by everyone as well. While I realize we probably won't have thousands of members, I am looking forward to seeing this forum grow steadily and am hoping this will tuyrn into THE place for truck modelers to hang out and share ideas, work, tips and so forth. Again, it's great to have everyone here!!! Now, let's have some fun!!!
