The model depicts the last old dozer I had the pleasure of operating. It belongs to a friend of mine up at Catching Creek who owns Gross Logging Company and I used her to dress the logging roads and the variuos roads on the ranch where the logging outfit is homed out of. This Dozer from what I understand has been handed down through three generations of loggers and now sits idle in a field because of the logging slowdown. She is an oldie but goodie and is hard to find parts for when she breaks down. She is also slightly under powered for bringing down turns and is the main reason she was relegated to dressing and water blocking roads to include general use around the ranch. The unit has a small hyster winch on the rear which like the unit itself is hard to find parts for also and hasn't worked for the last thirteen or so years. The model also started out as an AMT D8H Cat and was heavily modified into the Dresser Dozer configuration. All modifacations were done in Evergreen plastic and brass wire, including what ever else I could find to complete the model. This model is one of the first conversions I ever attempted with the D8H from AMT.

If there was a hall of fame for model builders your name would be on the top of the list, I´m sure. Great job as ever.
