Yeah, schleppin away in the sleeper for awhile now . I've had more fun in some truckstops waitin on a Com Check to arrive . Hey, all seriousness, I'm Ed. I'm known on the magazine forums for many of my service station dioramas . I build models of actual garages that either did exist or still do . Yes, I'm planing on doing a model of a very early Standard Oil Truckstop that's located on U. S. 1 in Richmond Virginia . The place was built in the late 1930's . I finially found enough documentry photos of what it was to be a Negro driver fom the day too. I'll be adding those important details to this piece as I want 100% accuracy too. Meanwhile , I still build exhibits for both the Texas and the Virginia Historical societies . I also still help out as a tech writer for the Early Ford Club of America. yes, I work on Henry's lil hot water heaters too..............

Welcome, guys. The Forum has been kid of slow lately, and I think all of the new people getting approved are coming as kind of a shock to most.
Looking forward to seeing your work.
