hey todd , jim , martin . good to hear from you guys , thank you for the welcome. I am getting ready to start a new project , using fibre optic lighting on a 1/24th scale peterbilt. someone mentioned that I can purchase a processor with a wireless remote, thus eliminating all the wires? your thoughts? I was thinking of using a 9 volt battery, and putting it under the bed in the sleeper, to light up the dash lights, marker lights, etc.. the problem with this though is how do I control the lights, without having the wires exposed to an external switch? your thoughts, and input would be greatly appreciated. have a great day!!... les

Hey Les, Les here. After wiring the model with all of the lights, you could work it out to have your two supply wires fish through say the axles and inside the tires, out of sight. Mount the model on a wooden base and feed the wires from a tire through the base to a switch mounted on the side of the base with the power supply hidden underneath. The battery under the base would allow easier access too. Just a thought.
