rebuilt this a while ago. cab came from the junk box.
mounted it onto an italeri freightliner conventional chassis and running gear.
made the exhaust stack mounts from brass channel. the rest is from the parts box or scratch made.
still needs a fifth wheel and some minor details. didn't realize til after the pics were taken that the drivers mirror was missing.
it has since been reattached. I like doing these old rebuilds.

Bee-utiful! That engine looks like a plumbers nightmare, but you pulled it off! I've been thinking about backdating one of those KW's to ans early-'60's version... when the lower cab skirting followed the front tires similar to that of a Pete or G-Series Mack...

That looks great! Always nice to see one pulled out of the junkyard and rebuilt, especially when they turn out like this one!

Tremendous job. Very nice looking rig. The only thing that down-grades the build is the fuel tank seam. Other than that... just beautiful.
