How do I Paint the peterbilt logo on a photoetch set? Its so small i cant' make it look good? Any Ideas?

Hey wildchld81 I dont know how small this item is but my suggestion to would be to use tooth picks and dip the very end of it in the paint and then just dab the part it should turn out fairly clean

another way would be to paint the piece as normal(i.e. all over)and when it is dry rub it over some fine grade wet & dry sandpaper and the paint will be removed from the raised detail edges leaving the rest of the paint in the shallow parts.check out my Freightliner in the showroom i posted today,i did the same with the photoetch badging on this.

Here is what I do with the P/E emblems from KFS. I paint them with Tamyia clear red with a brush. Give them a couple of light coats to get the red a deeper color like the 1:1 emblem. Then when the paint has dried lay them face down on a 12000 grit polishing cloth. Then lightly polish off the red paint from the script and the outside edge of the oval. Go easy with the polishing so you don't remove the thin coat of plating on the emblem. This technique also works well with the Ford blue ovals with clear blue paint.
