Does anyone know what the max length of a srtight truck I have an idea for a KW stright truck with a big sleeper and a rollback wrecker bed I need to know what the max is I can make it so I know how big I can make the sleeper...........

Doublebarell, I dont think there is a maximum length per say! Use common sense in your approach to your subject matter Use reference pictures. it comes down to the application in which the truck is going to be used and the practicality of the overall effort I have seen some pretty long straight trucks Again I dont think there is a maximum length If there is I am sure someone here will let you know Craig

California has a 40 foot limit on single vehicles. They are starting to allow some 45' motorhomes with special licenses.

doublebarrel, I snapped these pictures for you today, this truck was right at 40 feet based out of Toledo Ohio Picture was taken in Pa. Cargo box was 24-26 feet, sleeper 8-9 feet, cab 8-9 feet 40-44 feet overall give or take a few didnt have a lot of time but you came to my mind when I seen him pull in, Thought I would snap you a few pic's

Basically he is a HOT SHOT and generally hauls light The whole set up looks a little crazy and off center But evidently it works for him and his wife and dog

Talk about an overhang! He needs to keep an eye on the swing it will make while turning! I can see it now, while making a right turn the left rear corner smashes into a car in the next lane!
