Hi guys Since I'm new to this group I thought that I would show off my set of Ertl 1/25th tractors. These kits have been bashed slightly and weathered a bit. They are all part of various dioramas. This is from the IH 1466 kit and IH plow kit. The truck is an AMT Chevy kit. about the only changes made were to add duals on scratch built rims The JD4430 kit was modified so the the three point hitch arms work as well as the addition of kit duals, the cab door is hinged. The gravity wagons are scratch built This is a 1/25th scale Ertl plastic bodied, diecast framed model of a 8087 MF combine. It has been heavily modified with a scratch built cab, all new railings, steps, ladders and tires and rims. The corn is made from broom straw and paper leaves. The 1155 MF with a scratch built Lucknow snowblower. I added tire chains to the tractor And the last one is the 310 JD backhoe. all the rams and joints are movable unlike the original kit Thanks for looking Carl

Carl, I had seen your first diorama on another board. I thought that one was nice, but WOW. All the others look great, too! Keep up the great builds.

Hi Guys Thanks for all the kind words. I have always tried to build models that were just a little different from the norm. The original Ertl 1/25th scale agricultural models were amoung the best kits in there time. I still haven't found the Massey or John deere plough kits yet. heres another angle on the combine Thanks Carl

Hi Dan, These dios are a few years old now. They have all made the show circuit in the past. My Corn Field picked up a third place ribbon in dios at the the London IMPS show in '05. I hope to have something new ready for London and MegaCity this fall. Do you have any details on the London show? Thanks Carl
