this happened just down the street from me today they have been clearing a section behind the house ready to lay foundations for a new house to be built they have had all sorts of vehicles in & out of the driveway dumpers(full & empty),excavators etc... this bloke was backing in to pick up the tree trunks (about 4ft diameter) that were left after they had been felled & de-branched when the concrete driveway gave way the hole underneath the truck is about 4-5 ft deep at its deepest point(under the cab)!

This may not be a big truck wreck but it is classified as a truck. Brand new 2007 Chevy Equinox, with about 3 miles on it. While sitting on the dealer lot as part of dealer inventory, someone jumped off an embankment from the highway. They landed on top of this Chevy. SOrry about the pics. I was using my camera phone. This is after we dropped it at Copart, which sells totaled vehicles for the insurance companies.

What they just lay slabs over a hole? I dont see any support structure.

I wonder who is responsible with that truck falling in? No way the driver would have known. And with all the prior heavy equipment that drove over it, you would assume it was strong enough.
