About three months ago I got on my bandwagon and in one of my Ebay auctions, I complained about how some of the people were charging so much for the kits they had for sale. Well out of the range for average people like myself. Well, schapewolv** from Canada contacted me and agreed with what I wrote but his prices were and are still high (but he will work with you on a price at least) and my" fiend " MORON aka riley60**. Do not worry, he calls me gimp (whatever that is) and he knows I call him MORON. He agreed with me Wholeheartedly with every word I wrote and complained himself about other sellers on eBay with their ungodly prices. Not one week later he puts on eBay a kit Bill Signs Peterbilt that he out bid me on for $500.00. I contacted him because I saw the seven other kits(and he out bid me on at least two others in the previous months) that he flaunted in his auction. I knew he only paid $200. and under for those kits. He said if he wanted to do this it was his right. I explained that he agreed with me that it was unfair and he said "YEAH TOO BAD". Well he is a MORON and I hope and pray that they will reissue these Bill SIGNS kits and he can (well you know) with the kits he has scarfed up. Thanks for letting me vent again.

Do not worry, he calls me gimp (whatever that is) and he knows I call him MORON. Ok, here goes. schapewolv**, is a pain in the butt, yes he's willing to accept 3 or 4 of your mint condition models as payment for one of his high priced ones (like the simba kit that he puts reserves of US$175 on) but the thing that he doesnt back down on is the fact that he increases the postage price once you've won the auction, in my case, he increased it by US$30. Secondly, and far more humorous, you 'friend' that calls you gimp... This term is used in the military as a derogitory term to harrass people that are injured. However, in actual fact, a Gimp is a same sex BDSM 'sex slave' (if you've seen pulp fiction, think of the guy dressed intirely in leather (including hood) that was in the basement of that shop).

Just wanted to add my 2 cents to this subject. Seems everybody is right on this E-bay thing, and I agree about these shifty sellers. They are stickin it to us either by price and or shipping cost. There is another factor that also burns my bottom to no end. That is the guy who gets on and bids the price up and has no idea what the model cost or is worth. Heck he doesnt even know what he is bidding on he just knows he wants to bid on swomething. He dont want it he. and if he wins it by accident he aint going to pay for it. Sometimes I think and am probley right these people are shilling for there buddies judt to get the price up to where only a fool would by it. I set a price I am willing to pay for something and thats as high as I'll bid and if I think the shipping costs are out of thi world I dont bid on it either. E-bay can be good or it can stick it to you its all in how you use it Longhaul

so far all the sellers I've dealt with (bought from) have been very fair with me. What gets me is the high reserves and high bid wars from "collectors".

What gets me is the high reserves and high bid wars from "collectors". thats just the problem though... these guys's arent collectors, they're profiteers. They buy the items for some ridiculous price and as soon as they recieve it they put it straight back on ebay for more than they paid for it in the first place. My personal favorite is when you see morons listing something as "RARE" or "Hard to Find" despite the fact that there is the same item listed for half the price half a page down. check out this idiot... he's a personal favorite, always listing things for pathetic prices, stores.ebay.com.au/LE-TRUCK-STOP

I've been watching some of these bozo's auctions. Truckking70 has to be the worst of them. I notice he bids on some for about $100.00 then it goes in his ebay store for 2 to 3 times that price. Another is kozlosky*** from Germany. He is another dreamer. At least when I sell I don't start at the price it takes to make the mold for petes sake. Also my postage price is actural per usps website. Most kits I mailed cost around 8-9 bucks. Not no $27.50- $32.75. These people are just scammers and I won't even bother with them or thier auctions. Besides I will not bid on anything outside the US anymore. I have been ripped off to many times never recieving the item. I have lost more money to out of the states crooks by them getting my money and not sending the merchandise. They said they did but nothing. Even paid insurance costs to cover missing items but the post office cant pay due to no insurance number to claim. These people are just rip off artists in my book and I recommend not dealing with them.

They make a living ripping people off, while the rest of us work for a living.

and once again, they've gone unsold... i was deliberately bidding high on the this time just to find out how much reserve he'd got on them, they finished yet again with the reserve not met at US$165.
what the hell does he think he's going to get for them. he'd have better luck listing them individually a week apart
