Looks good. There was the thought a while back of trying to get enough members here to commit to purchasing a t-shirt promoting this forum but the interest waned pretty quickly so I just let it die. One thing I've learned when iot comes to custom printing is the more you order, the cheaper it will be to have the shirts done. Great idea though, that's for sure.

Well honestly guys, that was my intention, to test the waters alittle and see what kind of response I get. But for me it's not too hard to draft the truck as long as it's a nice clean picture. So if you guys would be interested in something like that please just talk about it and see how everyone feels. It also helps when the company that I work for does screen printing , along with sheet fed work. I can get the shirts done as I watch sorta. I'm sorry but I don't know who the moderater is right now but if this is in anyway not to your liking then just say the word. I don't want to step on any toes. I know these guys love their build as much as I do and to be able to sport it on the back or front of a nice looking shirt would be sooo cool. Promoting the site is a really good idea also. So it's like my daddy always said "it never hurts to talk about it". Take care guys and I'm looking forward to your response.

Nice idea. If you move forward on it I would certainly be interested. I also think one based on this forum is a great idea also.

OK, it seems as though we have at least SOME interest in the idea of coming up with a t-shirt with "The Truckstop" promoted on it. I think it's a great idea and I am definitely in on this. What i will do later today is put up a poll to get everyone's votes on this idea. One word of caution for everyone though. Please think this through completely. Do not commit to buying a shirt and then back out at the last minute. That only makes it hard for the person who is having the work done. It will also serve to drive the cost of the shirts up for those who are serious about buying. We also need to come up with what kind of t-shirt. I'm thinking a pocketed t-shirt, probably in gray. We could have the logo of The Truckstop on the pocket and the artwork of the Mack on the back with a slogan or saying. Just an idea... Go ahead and post your thoguhts and ideas people. This is a great opportunbity to really turn this place into a kicking site!!!!

NY that is a great idea on the poll and yes you are right that if the fellow modeler commits then they should follow through. The shirt that I am having my Mack printed on is a short sleeve "natural" colored 100% cotton pull over shirt with two or three buttons in the front. It should look really nice and I'm throwing out the cost at $15.00 a shirt. The pocketed t-shirt you spoke of is nice and more likely cheaper but I feel that alittle better shirt would be in order. I'm flattered that you spoke of using my Mack but if I had a nice clean picture of a Pete or KW, I would like to give you a sample of what I think this site should have. Maybe CDNTrucker could help me out on that part....The possiblities are endless. I feel that tomorrow my shirts will be printed so maybe I can get a picture of it on tomorrow night. But lets keep talking and see what we can come up with. By the way NY where can I find the poll?

You all know.....Truckstops usually have more than one(type of) truck in them. Maybe consider the lineup(side by side) approaching town for the jail break in a certain movie or the makeshift bridge to cross the ravine in a certain bird crested Pontiac.

Les Maybe a selection of movie trucks sitting side by side? Like for example.. The B.J. and The Bear KW next to the Duel Pete, the Rubber Duck Mack, the Over the Top Autocar, the Maximum Overdrive black KW(?), etc, etc.
