You know,,as you watch the television you see programs on every topic under the sun. From A to Z. But I have not heard or seen anything, anywhere about modeling. How great would it be every Tuesday night at 9 or every Sunday morning at 9 to be able to watch a program on model building and scratch building. I know it would be a hit and a very productive. As modelers and with as much talent as this site alone has, it could run for quite a while. Just think...

Especially if a large portion was sorta generic, say pertaining to body work, scratchbuilding, paint techniques, stretching frames, tubbing the rearend, product comparisons. Something all modelers could get use and entertainment out of.

Testers / Floquill did an hour long modellers show about 7 or so years ago. They touched on all phases of model building (cars, semis, aircraft and boats) , painting, weathering and basic diorama building. It was on every sat and sun mornings on 2 different PBS channels. I guess the funding and interest ran out? Paul

The program in question on PBS lost it's funding several years ago. I used to watch the program whenever i could, but around ehre the show came on mostly during the wee hours of the morning. It was no wonder the show didn't succeed. I thought it would have been great in either a later afternoon slot or early evening during the week. On the weekends alot of people have plans that don't include sitting in front of the t.v., ya know?
