Kudos for what happened here in New York yesterday. We had literally hundreds of truckers from across the state convoy to the state capital in Albany to protest the outrageous cost of diesel fuel here in New York. With prices approaching the $6.00 a gallon mark in some places here in New York now, many truckers are parking their rigs and finding work elsewhere. We are actually seeing more trucks for sale on the side of the roads around here than we are cars, so you know it's affecting alot of people. With the increasing tolls and the skyrocketing cost of diesel, it won't be long before people in this country won't have access to alot of things they normally would, or it will be so expensive they can't afford it. Here's the link....enjoy and support your local truckers!!!!! capitalnews9.com/content/top_stories/118467/on-the-highway-with-the-protest-convoy/Default.aspx

The truth can sometimes scare you. That said, there is alot of truth to this statement. Where the answers/cure for all this lies with someone alot smarter than me. I wonder what would happen if "oil" was taken off the trading market so that the speculators could not artificially drive the price so high. Or if they would be forced to put up front more than 25% of the funds when they make these transactions. Anyway, my 2 cents and I do not claim to be anything more than an average idiot.
