ummm..............2 I can think of....1. The KW Challenger mixer with the torsion suspension. 2. This one never made it to production, but the artwork was done...The Ford C series Garbage truck. I agree with the Garbage truck.. Also like to see the Log Trailer make it out along with the rest on the list

All they would have to do is the compactor part. They have the cab and chassis already.

Here is a little story about the Refuse truck and why it was never produced. THe article is from here: www.bonediggers.com/toc.html and a direct link to the article here: www.bonediggers.com/2-1/wlazlo/wlazlo.html Ghost Kit Not all scheduled releases came off without a hitch; some never saw the light of day. One kit in particular, the proposed Garwood Industries Refuse truck (5601), was derailed in its final stages by an unusual sequence of circumstances. After reference photos were taken by copywriter Dave Wilder, the model shop began constructing the standard 1/10 scale prototype from wood. Most of the new parts were large flat sections. The chassis and cab would come from the existing Ford C-600 kit. The only thing needed was the large "refuse bin". "That’s when AMT had one of their many strikes. The women that packed the boxes were part of the UAW and the modelers were also UAW - so if the women went out, they had to go out too." These wood sections were left on their benches when the modelers departed. "They figured ’well it’s flat...it’s gonna stay flat.’" In the mean time, the art department continued their work, producing the decals and box artwork. "Well...when they came back they had this horrible surprise." The model shop was not climate controlled during the strike and the wooden parts warped well beyond reasonable repair or replacement cost. Seeing a losing proposition, AMT decided to cancel the project.

DARN!!! Well that answers my question. Thanks for sharing the article, though. It makes me appreciate the old AMT box art that much more.

Hi, that Garbage truck is a nice looking rig. It´s a shame that they never produced it...does anyone have some pictures or links from the original they used for that truck?
Cheers,Chris

That probably would be the chassis they used. Stake body chassis wouldn't be long enough.
