I will say that if this forum gets that last second pardon, that a lot of us who've said that we'll step up and be active and responsible posters, had better do say; myself placed at the head of that list. I also stated that I'd be willing to take over this forum and keep it running, because I really don't want to see it shut down.

I contacted Brian back in November 2011 about taking over as owner of the Forum. Obviously, it never went anywhere.

Only hours left. It's been a pleasure seeing all your builds here and helping you the best to my ability. If the site stays open then it will be still a pleasure. I myself wouldn't mind taking over the forum but it is Bri's call.

I will address this issue for those who care. It's ridiculous that it takes threatening to shut this place down to get people to give a damn. As for my absence, I'll explain a few things. First of all, I'm no longer an active participant in the hobby. I sold my collection last year and haven't looked back. I got out of the hobby for several reasons. First and foremost was needing money due to being unemployed for health reasons. Secondly, I am now back to driving OTR for a national carrier. I do not have internet access when I am at home to handle what goes on here on a daily basis. I'm sorry, but trying to admin a forum on an I-phone is ridiculous at best. Finally, I placed my trust in an individual to assist me in the operation of this forum. When I logged in here yesterday I saw the post he left voicing his displeasure about his role on this forum. I also saw the attack on my integrity and how I handled things here. Of course he forgot how he was allowed to disappear and not tell anyone what was going on with him, even when he had numerous members here looking for him. I kept him on the administration staff and respected his decision to take his leave for work and personal reasons. Then I come here yesterday and see the post he had the balls to put up here. Basically, seeing what I saw was the last straw. Too many people take this hibby too seriously, especially when they think someone's out to screw them. I didn't originally intend to post anything regarding Mark's outburst, but I feel it necessary to fully disclose my reasons. There's simply too much in life that matters more than this hobby. Take it for what it is and learn to accept the fact that there is more to life than this. Call me a liar, thief, whatever you so choose. The bottom line is I'm tired of it and fed up with it. It doesn't take much of a man to go on a public forum and shoot his mouth off, and accuse someone and then take off like a chickenshit, especially when he had every opportunity and avenue to contact me. Mark never once pm'd me through this forum nor did he call me or try any other way to contact me to address his concerns. So I guess in the end you can personally thank that waste of flesh and sperm for the closing of this forum. Oh, amazingly I sent him an e-mail yesterday requesting a total for the money he thinks I owe him and have yet to hear back from him. So now you know why this place is going away. Any more questions?

I like the forum i personally havent really been able to get any models except maybe one or two a year do to lack of being able to purchase. looking for work getting firewood and other everyday things that happen I would really like to post more if i had the projects to do so with. I get alot of ideas for projects there are quite a few differant projects i would like to do and post. Also in my location Sadly the hobby shops are drying up and some of them have been around for many years alot of small shops or going out of business Don's Hobbies in Kenosha Wi. Is out of business or on its way out, Gary's Hobby Shop in Racine Wi. has shut its doors about any local hobby shops theres a Hobby Lobby In Kenosha and Racine Wi. have a minimal assortment of model kit choices very limited Michaels In Racine has very few kits except maybe one or at most two shelves dedicated to model kits. But if i dont get on everyday i get on every other day or evening and check out kits that fellow builders have built up or currently are building I enjoy veiwing other peoples work it is very helpful to read up with what the other members have for tips or ideas or critiques. I think the site as well as the other sites that are available for our hobbies are very important to keep a hobby alive such as this hobby i would really hate to see the modeling communites dry up as many of the shops have.

I'm saddened to hear of the problems you've had. I'm even more saddened that one person's actions is going to hurt many good people by causing the closing of the forum instead of transferring ownership because of said actions.
Stay safe on the road, -Scott H.

I am also very sad that this forum cames to a halt. It is this place where I first discovered the wonder of model truck building. I watched each and every build posted here and I would like to say big THANK YOU to all of you. You guys are a great and exclusive company and I feel proud that I could be a member. Unfortunatelly, nothing stands forever. First I lost my job and now this wonderfull truck model territory. Well, life goes on and I hope I will be meeting some of you on another forum. Also thanks, Bri, for your work with the forum over the years. I probaby canĀ“t imagine what it takes to run a thing like this. I understand your reasons, but I mean... REALLY?
Bye, Jarda
