Just got this from Dave for a future project. The cab is updated with newer style door handles and the cab is about the same size as the plastic cab. Dave supplies most of the necessary parts, however, you could still use parts from either of the Autocar kits. The glass from the plastic kit will work with some slight modifying. This is a good casting, comparable to that found in plastic kits. (Still haven't decided on the donor frame yet--Italeri or one of my Autocar kits)

Looks like someone's on a bit of an Acar kick. I don't think the autocar frame would be right because it has no front brakes,an older rear suspension, and old cummins. If you use the italeri you get newer wheels, engine ,battery boxes, tanks and suspensions. Something else is the seats, chances are a newer truck like this would have 2 air ride high back seats.A high rise westernstar bunk would be correct also(the older one). A westernstar is probably the best donner kit. Looking forward to see what you come up with. KEVIN

I was thinking of using a RVG kit as the main donor and would definitely have to update from the old Cummins. Maybe a good ol' kitty? Never know with me. Still haven't put too many plans into it yet, as I still have several on the front burner at the moment.

An Italeri kit would make a good frame too. Go to the Autocar link @ Hank's. There is an AT64F brochure there in its entirety.
