they do look a little fat. I don't know how you guys over there have your batteries set up but, over here most of the batteries have threaded studs & the cables have eyelets that slip over & held down by 9/16th nuts. might be easier to replicate that sort of set up using those photo etch nuts...maybe? on the other hand, those rubber covers that go over the eyelets are pretty bulky....maybe just place a nut inside the terminal you have. or tell me to mind my own buisness ;D either way is good w/ me

They might be a tick big, but they look great. Tim, I thought much the same, so I changed them You know what?? This thing is outstanding Kevin Thanks Kevin, I don't know about outstanding, all I am doing is building what I see, and I have 297 pictures of this truck which allows me to build it as close as I can and also allows me to get as much details as possible, so the best is yet to come, they do look a little fat. The sheet in I can solder a lug on for the wire, and add the bolt hole to clamp it on, which is in front, 0.8mm head These are both just a quick mock up to see what they would turn out like, will make better quality ones when I work out which way I am going to go

Wow, that is a big improvement, I think they both look great! You could go either way.

The tube ones look more "in scale" than the plastic ones. Go with the brass.
This is going to be an amazing build when it's done. Think it'll start up?

Wow, that is a big improvement, I think they both look great! You could go either way. Tim Thanks Tim, I am going with the centre style, and soldering these together, then adding the cable to them, and using scale hardware for the bolt detail, they should look ok

Ok, been a long while before this has been updated, I received something in the post after waiting 5 months for it to be done, Here are some pics I had the dash photo etched, so I could rebuild the original kit dash to what I wanted, also corrected the mistake in the dash, had the gauges removed so that I can fit some led's behind them in a soft light box so that the gauges will light up, new exhaust shields, with the KW logo on the top, not really happy with these, as there is a little bleed through on the one on the left the new grill with the extra uprights, thought these would be 3D instead of the single type, I may have to add some bulk to them Have done a little work on the overhead console, made it with working visor's I will fill the visor's to give them more of a 3D effect, and add the cb handset and cord, still thinking about adding the fan, haven't worked out how to do the guard yet, may see if I can find a photo etched one I still have a long way to go, and only about another 237 parts to make, but it is getting there

Spent some time today making a master for the brake drums, now onto the hubs and backing plates, oh and the brake shoes I will cast these in resin, instead of making them in aluminium They will also fit nicely in the new Alcoa rims Which are far better than the kit rims
