Another vintage kit that still looks great when it's built up. Fantastic job Jim!

Thanks for the complements, guys. I have 2 more fire apperatus in the stash: the Trumpeter American-LaFrance Eagle Pumper & the Italeri Iveco-Magirus Ladder Truck. I'd like to pick up a Ladder Chief & an Aero-Chief one of these days.

I wasn't much into fire trucks until my early teens. My father use to be security at the Peter Pirsch Fire company here in Kenosha WI. Talk about a lot of sounds, sirens, horns, engines running, then you get the looks of all the polished aluminum trim and the different color trucks leaving the plant. It was a sweet life back then. Jim your LaFrance gave me a flashback of my earlier years. Thank You.

A true classic - both the 1:1 trucks and the 1:25 kit. Very nicely done.

Thanks, Scummy. The hoses are sewing elastic stained with a light oak stain to make them look used. Then the couplers are brass tube.
