This thread better get locked. The guy asked for ideas and automatically he's a rip off artist.Did I miss some thing ,he never asked for money. In the last thread his W.I.P. is being criticized,at least let the guy finish before you pick it apart.Did I miss the "only master craftsmen need apply" sign on the home page?Tim , the pete expert that every truck modeler looks up to ,builds frames without top or bottom flanges some times, think about that! Every one has made good points but most negative, even mine

OK people...I'm stepping in here to put an end to this before it gets too nasty to salvage anything decent from.
First of all, this thread should have NEVER been started by the original poster. Unless a person is already producing something, there is no reason to post a "teaser post" to try and get people to support a business that doesn't even exist. The tales of a former forum member hold 100% truth and credence here. Some members were ripped to the tune of hundreds of dollars by this individual and we all look out for eachother here.
Next, nobody, and I mean NOBODY has the right or reason to tear down someone's modeling efforts here. We are here for the enjoyment of this hobby and as such, we need to accept everyone's efforts as their own, for their own reasons, and for their own styles. Just because we may not build the way someone esle does, that doesn't mean the other individual's work is junk. Until we see the finished product, don't judge. If you feel the need to criticize someone's efforts, do so CONSTRUCTIVELY.
With saying that, I do understand some members' thoughts on ensuring any casting done is done to a quality standard and that the members here aren't subjected to buying parts that are lacking quality and accuracy. In closing, let me say that when you are actually casting parts, then you can post a link to your website and even post images of your efforts here. Until then, don't try to tease the members here with parts and accessories that don't exist.
