I'll get the ball rolling .Brought this one back out. With the spread suspension and front floats it will be an Ontario -Michigan heavy haul with a multi axle trailer(s).I'm hoping to see some more regional style builds,ie. California doubles, rockey mountain doubles, droms, long west coasters, short east coasters,or maybe a mountain push truck.Builds that will show this fleet is all over pete389.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=shop&action=display&thread=2800

Cool. I like the regional idea. Hopefully we'll see some of that.

Well I am working on this beast.Just last night finished making 2 frame mount toolboxes, and first coated the engine.Since the last update I have also built a headache rack, and spent way too many hours trying to plumb up an air to air inter-cooler.I eventually had to give up on that, cause I coulden't get to look or work right with where the battery box and exhaust pipes have to be.That kind of stuff has to look believable.Too bad ,I was going for the total performance upgrade on the 12V71.I will post some pics sometime this week end.Got to mount a few things to the frame.

Boy,I didn't realize its been 8 months since I last posted about this ,and about 15 since it was started :-[I got the frame sprayed a few days ago,and got the engine and such installed.Decided to put a little bit of pinstripe on the tanks, the decals fell apart, and for what ever reason couldn't get them off.So I got to take it apart slightly to sand and respray.I have more decals,so I'll try again, only this time I'll clear them so they wont fall apart.I like it when after planning a build, maybe changing your mind on a few things, and looking at it forever you finally get colour on it,you can get a feel if things are gonna work out. It's a bummer when you get a setback .Pics soon,if things go well

Sounds cool, can't wait to see your progress. Don't feel bad about the delay, I did the same thing - had a year to build & it's crunch time now. I don't play well with deadlines, I guess .
