With the potato harvest starting soon on the east end of L.I. it's time to get out the trucks. Most field trucks here are from the early 50's to early 70's and never tagged. This is my 1956 Dodge 700. Its on a modified Lindberg Dodge L700 chassis with scratch built "step" Dodge fuel tanks and the AMT 1941 Plymouth Flathead 6 cylinder wired and plumbed, hooked to the L700 transmission. The cab is resin and the side dump "tater" body is scratch built. Broken windshield and house paint "warning" stripes and RICE KRISPYS for Potatos! Paul.
