I have a question for pat or anyone else that might know.On the ford is the air intake the same as a north american version, just on the left instead of right side or a different set up all together?I 'm thinking of getting the aussie parts from DMTW to do one.The only reason I'm thinking ford for a conversion is I have one more in stock.

G'day plastictrucker i had 2 go thru my pics. The LNT9000-Ford i drove had the intake on the left side ( it had a 692TTA GM) all the other pics show it on the right. The LTS9000 on the left as well. If u like will put sum pics up if u would like.

If u like will put sum pics up if u would like. Yes,the more reference photos the better. After I posted my question I remembered about a post about Aussie trucks in the truckers lounge. All but one ford had intakes on the right.Maybe the engine dictates location

Hay plastictrucker that would be my guess 2 that it depens on the engine. I took most of them in the 80's so thay not the best, sorry. As far as i know the pics ive got of the LNT's had cummins ether 903s or 350s exept the blue & silver louie 6V92TTA. The bunkers, deans & toll LTS all had series 60s. Ill get the pics up 4 u shortly. Hope thay help.
