hey finally some updates worth posting! started to get the axles sub assembled still need a few more parts to go before i start painting them heres the front axle still needing the tie rod but i wont put that on until i can find a screw driver or something that i can get hot enough to rivet it on so i can have poseible wheels! and finally heres the air bags i started to paint i still have to finish detail painting them i think i may have a way where they look so real i have to wait and find "the material" to do it with!

2 questions first what year of pete is this based off of? (maybe that might help detail this thing?) second does anyone know anything more on what color the series 60 is suppose to be and by the way that brings up a point what about the tranny (color mainly)

Best guess is that the Italeri Peterbilt 377A/E kit is an early to mid-1990s truck. Maybe a 1995.
As for the Series 60, Tamiya Medium Blue XF-18 is pretty close. Transmission could be semi-gloss black.

The last the Detroit was available in a Peterbilt was 2003.
When I build a 'later year' PB I treat the Italeri engine as a generic block - a Detroitopillar or Drummins. The funny thing here - I had a Cat rep looking at a yellow Detroit with a black head cover and he said "hey, it's a c15 !" I didn't have the heart to tell him any different.
