I do not remember Western Star having a cabover. I know White had the Cabovers but not with the western star badge.

Hi Doug! "Western Star" itself never made a coe. But during the time, it was a division of White, some of those coe's with a grille similar to that of the White Road Boss and / or the Volvo White where badged with the big "W" of Western Star above the grille. Or - may be - it was owner made I don't know! But I've seen pictures of such trucks in the web. But I don't remember where I saw it. Martin

Thats what I meant. It's not a WS itself, but only a rebadged White.

Western Star did have the cabover. I forgot where I saw it, but there was a side by side comparison, and there were several notable differences other than the grill. I don't remember what they were, but I do remember the windshield was larger and a difference in cab height. Now if it was a "rebadged" White, it was still different than the RC2. linklinkone more link

Western Star did indeed produce a cabover... albeit for a very short time... and it was a VERY nice looking tractor.
