Outstanding Work! I like the first scheme, but the second scheme in blue as others have mentioned would look sharp.

Jarda I'd say stick with it. You may have to adjust the tape till you get what you want but it's looking good.
Once you get the tape on tight where you want it,you can spray some clear coat BEFORE painting the final paint.
Let the clear dry use a light coat.
That will keep the paint from bleeding under the edge and keep the edge's clean. As long as you paint your stripe's in thin coat's. This is a very nice and detailed kit you have going here. Earl

Yea id have to agree with earl and say stick with it, you would of put in a good few hours masking that already, be a shame to rip it all off. My advice is to keep checking it, make it as close to perfect as you can, press it down as hard as you can, use something with a fine point to work it into all the grooves, but im sure youve realised all that. But when it comes to painting my theory is to do it all before it dries, so i base coat in clear, then only give it about 15mins to get tacky, then start painting light coats of your colour in 15 min intervals aswell, and the key points are to not let the paint get too thick, and not let it dry to the masking tape, the wetter the paint is the less jagged edges youl get when you tear it all off, and dont get too freaked out when you get jagged edges because youd be suprised how well it can all be touched up with a fine brush. One way to make it near perfect is to pinstripe the outlines with decals once finished, but thats only good if you cant get colours to match or if you want different outline colours But thats all just my opinon, Dan

This build is waiting for color right now. A local modelers meet is going to take place in February. A couple of us truck modelers are going to meet in a lodge to spend a weekend working on our builds, watching what the others do and helping each other to solve any problem that might occure. I plan to take this Pete and make the painting job there. So, please, be patient. I hope I am able to show some progress at the end of February. Jarda
