Jarda, I think you are on the right track for the paint job. And yes spray a coat of clear fist to seal the tape work. I love looking at your work/ The level of detail you put into a model is inspiring to meat least!

Cripes-a-mighty! Your plumbing skills are mind blowing! You either have the real thing sitting nearby for reference, or you just know your TRUCKS!!

Ha - ha. I wish I had a real truck for reference, believe me. In this part of the world, no way. I mean yes, there is a few US trucks owned by local enthusiasts but I don´t happen to meet them. All my reference sources are just pictures from the internet. I don´t plumb my models by any real cheme or diagram. My lines usually go from a visible element like a brake chamber, air tank or air spring and they end nowhere... hidden inside the "C" channel under the cab or somewhere. A great help with plumbing the engines is the set of old articles from Car Modeller magazine that you can find on public fotki.
I appologize for no up dates on old Aero Kit Pete at the moment. I will paint the cab on the Modellers Meet scheduled for the end of February. Till then, follow my Clydes II thread, if you please.

Yeah, I am in touch with Tim occasionally. He is a great help and mighty nice guy too. Watching hundrets of his Peterbilt photos gave me a great deal of knowledge about "red oval". But there´s still a lot to learn for me though.

Hello again, I keep working on this project but the progress is too slow for presenting the pics. But for now I think can show the firewall. A added a few details and some plumbing too. Still to add is the beeper under the windshield center post and maybe a few more tiny wires. Jarda
