i made a c series back in the early 70s , wasnt sure if i liked it but that is very nice looks good as a tanker & red always looks good

Excellent model and colour choice! And not as "freelance" as one might think, many fire service tankers (especially from the era when Ford's C was common) were converted from milk & fuel trucks. Your use of the Lindbergh tank has given me some ideas!

Very nice! I used to drive a Ford C water tender near Santa Rosa. It was only a two axle, and it had a hard time getting up the hills with 1500 gallons.
