yes nearly done the sleeper Jim , it took a bit longer , im still not sure about the colours adamant i was going to do those colours the gold breaks it up a bit

thanks for the comments guys , ill carry on with those colours see how it turns out when i can get round to it will post a picture of the sleeper , sun viser on the cab will be purlple with a slim gold strip , not decided to yet to have chrome or purple fuel tanks , in 42 years of model truck building never been this unsure of how to do a build , reckon im over thinking it !!

have been hand painting a long long time graham , i allways warm the paint up slightly it makes it run better , thanks for the comment

orr its not that big Todd , i measured a 1/25 sleeper then just doubled the length & guessed the hight , as for the brushes Justin there humbroll senator , president & eveco brushes , i have had some of them for 20 years as soon as i paint the part i clean them in polycell brush restorer then rinse in warm water & dry straight away with a clean towel , i have no room to spray the dining table in the picture is my work surface i put an old sheet on it then a large piece of wood , i envy the guys on here with loads of room

yes i normaly paint under the hood ,cab & sleeper the same colour i have done the chassis ,seems to work for me , thanks for all the comments

hi every one finaly got the international out again , these are the tanks im using they are some i bought at a model show , i got 12 for a pound ($1.50 ? )they were in poor shape so i cleaned them up sanded all the join lines & used chrome foil from KFS in the UK

i was also unhappy with bottom colour so changed it to black which i think looks better , & i added an extra inch in the chassis
