THANKS phoneguy..... I have a question for all. How high should the stack's be.? Or doe's it matter to each his own.?Good rule of thumb is that the stacks shouldnt be higher than the top of the trailer if pulling a box, reefer, curtainside, or moving van trailer.

Mr. BIGGS that's one cool looking setup. Could just picture it pulling into one of the truck shows. About the stacks down here in the south max legal height is 13'6" should be that are lower. Out west legal heights are 14' just depends on what state.

Here is the visor I cut it after the glue dried and shaped it to fit the window, along with adding the center strip. I'm not really feeling it so I might not add it to my build.

Wow...
The visor is trick, although I agree with you.
Your build has such incredible smooth lines, the drop visor should have the same. Remove the center band and it will make a BIG difference on the look. Polish it to a mirror finish.
You have done such a awesome job on this build. My paint skills will never be what you have shown, however this build of yours has given me the inspiration to now go back to a kit that I have shelved for a few years and try again to build a "Old School Pete" custom lowpro. Try and try again.
Thanks and Look forward to all your posts.
Glenn C.

Amazing work on your truck, just shows what can be done with a simple model, that was just the lowly snap pete and now it one of the coolest pete models I have ever seen! Jim

First off let start off by saying THANK YOU GUY'S for them word's of encouragement. CNDTRUCKER. Don't know what to say but thanks. CFNUTCASE. This was my first big rig and that was the only kit i knew about at the time. I thought it was an OK kit , but after seeing what they got out there it would of made my job much easier. Flatbedkw. thanks. plastic trucker. i took off the strip on the visor and polished the whole thing but i still don't real like it so it might not stay. As for my next project which will be the ' HAPPY TOYZ' Truck will be started right after this one is done. Just need to find the right rig to build.

I don,t know if your already aware the kit to use is an amt white western star. It's probibly pretty rare(exspensive).I think a w-900 kenworth bunk would be closest(also rare and exspensive). An amt van trailer would be best.Just my two cents worth.Again OUTSTANDING WORK.
