A couple photos of my new project. Ford L9000 using an AMT short hauler, Plaskit L9000 conversion hood and Neway air ride rear with a KFS skip loader. Along with a surprise (RARE) engine!

Looks sweet! Hoping to do a LT9000 myself one of these days. Question: did to just relocate the cab backwards to accomodate the longer hood?
Also, DMTW offers the logos for the hood for the Ford L-Series. It will give you logos for about "30 years" for Fords. Dan & I have been working on them, and I think we've got them just about right. I have two sets, and they look really nice.

Yes, the cab mounts were moved rearward 10mm. The fender sections on the cab were removed and filled. The firewall will still need a dog house to fit an in line engine, I used one from a Drivers Cab ( Diamond Reo/Autocar).

I have e-mailed Daniel in regards to purchasing his products for retail in the U.S. Through mutual acquaintances and the fact that he does not return my correspondences. I have come to the conclusion that he is tough to deal with, but time will tell. As for the guy listing on Ebay, my experiences have been slow shipping (3-5 weeks). He does sell the genuine article, but I get the impression that he orders the parts from Plaskit after the sale. Here is a shot of the engine mock up on the LT-9000

it's looking great so far, i've just bought some of the tread plate from that guy on ebay, the impression he gave was that it'd be sent pretty much straight away however he doesn't accept paypal so it'll be a while before i see it (got to send a MO to his location first). I'm glad that i was getting it in advance as it's actually for the next part of the build, not the chassis

Maybe he is stocking more items now? My last purchase from him was about a year and a half ago. The Demag is looking excellent!
