Hi, I`ve decided to build the tanker for the Mack, After some research, I found it`s a Trailmobile with a unsual pontoon suspension, I thought it had Fruehauf suspension. Ah well. To start i made formers from 3mm balsa wood with a pine frame to this i stuck plastic card top & bottom then covered it in 0.5 mm plastic card, I have a stock of offcuts thats why its blue. The joints are covered in 0.5 strips. The chassis is 1mm plastic card & 8mm channel. Graham.

The inner frame is impressiv! What kind of glue You took to connect the Styrene to the wood?

The inner frame is impressiv! What kind of glue You took to connect the Styrene to the wood? I used epoxy resin, then clamped the strips on over night. Thanks for the comments. Graham.

Hi All, The tanker is at the paint stage now. I still have to source the wheels & tyres or make them. Maybe make one then cast the rest. The hose tubes are drinking straws. I also have to make the decals for this. Heres the pics. Graham.
