Wow, that´s a trailer! Wish I had a room for models like this. I am not a fan of working lights but this is something else. I like the glow of the instruments on the dash. This is going to be a huge build. Unfortunatelly, no tip for tires from me. Wish you the best.

WOW!!! If I take the floor laminate for scale, the complete rig will be more than 2, 30 Meter long! Is it 1:24 or 1:25? Great work so far!!!

For the tires I think 1/32nd scale ones would work from snap truck kits. Its just finding the 1/32nd scale kits to get them from.

Yes it is 2.36 meters long... I had to look up the conversion. And it is 1/24 scale, thankfully! Makes all the math for scale reduction incredibly easy for this number illiterate guy ;D
Thank you all for your comments, is really cool too see all the fine work done by others on here and get noticed for my own efforts as well!

I like it and think it is a cool idea. While I am not sure about the working lights in models thing I think this is one where it will look awesome. Great work on the trailer too as I could not built something like that. I just don't have the patience.

Thank you all so much! The lights have been the hardest part of the whole thing, every light is actually an incandescent bulb including the high and low headlights. I didn't want to use fiber optics cuz real trucks don't have that hahaha! Im stubborn! As for the trailer, it took bout ten hours from start to the point of the pictures so far. I burnt myself several times while bending the I beams for all the trailers, but I found that heating and bending is a hundred times stronger than miter cuts and glue! The load trailer is surprisingly strong despite being almost three feet long. I am gonna have to heat the belly of the trailer and preload it a bit like a real trailer so that it wont sag as much when the load (disguised battery box) is gained to it! Will get recent pictures on tomorrow hopefully.

Awesome with the lighting on the rig I was thinking about using the fiber optic lighting but it was never put on the drawing board. can't wait to see the rest of the trailer. it's a big one.
