The planets must be aligned properly, or something because I actually managed to finish a truck! Wow!
Anyway, here is my version of the Revell 1937 Ford delivery truck. I only built this guy to see how the kit was because my son who turned 8 in May wanted a glue kit. I wasn't sure what kit to get, because he's also been hounding me for an ambulance kit. Since I wasn't going to spring for a SSB Resin kit for an 8 year old, I was at a loss. The Revell issued this kit & I thought it would be perfect. I have to admit that there are some tricky parts, but I think we'll be able to handle them together.
My version is the Sexton Foods version with two-tone Tamiya Green over Dark Green. It's essentially "box-stock", but hey, it's done!
I have such a Ford A type pick-up truck as a die-cast model made by Burago. It's 1:24 and dark green with Coca Cola stickers and another one in red with OXO stickers on it as a van. But this Revell kit never was available in Germany. Only the Tin Lizzy.
Shipping won't be a problem! A mate of me is working at Mercedes in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and every 3 or 4 month he comes back to Germany. "Privat courier". I will convert my die- cast model into a small wrecker.
