Hello all . My name is matt , i live in norwich , uk . Im now returning to truck modeling after about 10 years away from it due to work , family and other hobby commitments . I work as a truck driver collecting milk from farms around my local area, as did my father before me so have spent most of my life involved with the trucking industry. Now i have more spare time & a dedicated room for my modeling i hope to get cracking on some builds & post pictures as i go . Cheers , matt . Ps : this is my truck by the way , nothing special but it earns me a living .

Thanks jimb . Its a very basic 440hp fleet spec truck . Its double shifted so runs 24hrs a day , 365 days on dirty farm work . Its just covered 1.5 million miles so its getting very worn out now . I also get to drive a Volvo FM12 that has done almost as many miles but is so much nicer !!

Hi Matt!
Another driver on the forum! Welcome here from Germany! I agree with You, the Volvo is the better one. But why You removed the sun visor at the MAN? Or didn't You order one? (I won't miss it!) All in all it's a nice truck (with the typically small english lift axle). But it's looking very, very good for that it has done 1.5 million ml's! What type of trailer is it? LAG?

Hi mart . The truck wasnt ordered with a sun visor as i spend alot of time in narrow rural roads with low hanging trees etc so they get damaged & broken . The trailer is british made by a company called ' Sayers Road Tankers ' & its junk !!!!!!!!! We normally run Feldbinder tanks but tryed these as they are £12,000 cheaper and it rearly shows , theyre very , very poorly built unlike a feldbinder .

Hi Matt! Yepp! The trees! Some road were made for post-coaches 200 years ago and never made wider. If two trucks meet, one always has to stop! Ok, Feldbinder or Spitzer, too, is state of the art in silo (pneumatic) and tanker building, but very expensive! The LAG's and their hungarian division Magyar are also make good in tank trailers. A lot of german tanker- companys use them. But it's also a question of what kind of goods are to haul. Liquid is not liquid. Martin
