Am I the only one who builds the engine first?

No, I tend to build the engine first as well; then the frame so I have some place to put the engine!

Yeah, building the frame first makes sense but I'm a bit of a gear head. Powerplant takes precedence.

I tend to build components, Though I do not always build the engine first, it does happen that way most of the time. You have to start somewhere!!! :-))

Put the engine in primer last night. Now I need to find some CAT yellow. I'm looking for a brush on not spray. Does anyone know where to find some? Or maybe a suitable color that's close? There is a CAT repair shop close to my house that I thought about checking at, but I don't know if they would have any touch up paint in a small enough container for what I need.

Don't go to the Caterpiller repair facility to get the paint. You'll probably end up spending $10 for the can. Check your local hardware store for "Equipment Yellow".

Sounds good. I was thinking the same thing about the CAT place. It was just gonna be a last resort.
