With that paint job. That could easily be one of the trucks pulling for Greenstien trucking out of Pompano Beach back in the 70's. You have come real close to matching their paint scheme! Nice Job!

That is a great looking truck , i remember seeing this style of truck on the highway here when i first started driving in the mid 70's . I really like this truck and just might hava go at making a 70's truck , very inspiring model mate .

cool looking kw.. congrats on a very well done model. did you had any problems mounting that torsion bar suspension?? Thanks! The torsion bar suspension can be a pain to get to sit right, but if you take your time it will fit together nicely.

You did a great job on this truck. I love the paintjob and your detail work. The trailer's finish looks really good.

thanks kj for the tip! the reason is ,i bought a torsion bar kit from the net -don't know if on the site i can mention others?--- anyway only a couple of parts..the seller sent me the instructions so one day i'll be glueing it to a nice kx that will be so stock and cheap looking it will be unreal. real basic truck. the less chrome i love it.

I found it is easiest to get the front suspension and steer axle glued on. Then glue torsion bars to the frame, then glue the links in place. Then glue the axles on and while the glue is wet, set the axles all on level platforms (I used the tires laying on their side). This will allow everything to set up straight and level.
