If anyone can help me i need a few Italeri wheels. These i have came as extras in one of the 48 ft American reefer trailer kits. I dont know if they are in any others. I was trying to drill out the center hubs and screwed up 2 of the outer drives. I need 4 of these with the rings. Which is what i prefer. Or 2 of these with the rings. Which i will take. Unless someone has a complete set (steers and drives) of chrome ones for a dual drive tractor that they wouldnt mind parting with.

It's looking great so far but too bad about the deal with Dan and your parts. It has got to be frustrating not to be able to continue on your beauty. I will check and see what I have for wheels tomorrow. Not sure if I have any that will work but I'll check.

Couple of mock up pics. Recieved a set of chrome Italeri wheels and tires in the mail today. Decided to use them. Put the suspension, axles, and tires on. Body parts, bumper, deckplates, fifth wheel and stacks just there for mock up and picture taking. Same with the trailer. It isnt the exact trailer i will use, but is the same kit i am thinking of using. Pretty long combo, 38 1/2 inches. Also the stacks are a bit high, will cut them down a little. The 1/24 scale wheels and tires worked out good, resembles the 24.5 wheel look i was going for.

Man that's one huge rig wouldn't get away with that here in Oz oh no too long for the prime mover. Great job with this rig though can't wait to try this myself but Oz style and even longer with the trailer(s) yep maybe 3 of 'em.

I'd use the one from the Astro van. It fits the look of the truck better.

That one looks good, a little oversized, but looks to fit the job at hand well.

Well other than some marker (chicken) lights (which i need to get), some sort of steps for between the sleeper and the drives (which i need to get as well), and decals (which i will decide on once i decide what i will do exactly for a trailer), its done. So its done other than... Lights, decals, and steps for behind the sleeper.

HOLY ! is that thing street legal! ;D I have seen a few with the 180 inch sleepers. Usually they are pulling 53 ft Kentucky moving vans or Featherlite enclosed car haulers.
