Moving this to here now that model completed, night snapshots for the time being until better (and warmer!) weather for daytime photos.

Robert, That look dayum good! And I know that the photos do not do it justice. Congrats on another very fine build.

Excellent job, Robert. The night shots make it look "real". Very well done. I like the guardrail. Is that from the Italeri kit?

Thanks guys, I am pleased with the night photo results. This time of year they are about the only option at least during the workweek. Aperture was set a f/40 so long exposure time needed, one of the photos was 58 seconds and the other 78. While shutter was open I also "painted" light onto the model, particularly on lower areas to highlight running gear.
Good eye Jim, that is Itaerli guardrail mounted on balsa posts. Carriage bolt heads at each post are actually model railroad track nails which scale out just about right. Whole guardrail section can be removed from plywood photo base if needed.

Terrific night shots and excellent build. Both are incredibly realistic. I mean the scene of the photo and the truck itself. Very well done. Jarda

It looks amazing. Outstanding work as always. It looks so realistic in that photo. In fact, if it had working lights, I would think it's the real thing in this night photo.

We had sunshine today (along with temperatures in the "minus lots" category) so was able to take some outdoor pictures, interesting to compare colour between night and daytime photos. Colour that looked different from real truck in night shots is actually a pretty good match for the real CN orange. And Ray - you've got a great idea with working lights. Going to give those a try on a future project.

Looks great during the day, too! Looking forward to seeing it in Utica.

Model complete, just have to fill out entry form now. Travel day down to Utica is just 2 weeks away, what I am most looking forward to is the chance to meet up with all of you in person and "talk trucks"!
