Thanks, forgot to mention that I BMF'ed the diamond plate with chrome. Getting the blue plastic hidden by primer was a pain but I am glad that the white worked on this kit.

Colored plastic is the bane of modeling! Blue can be bad, but red is just pure evil! Bleeds through everything.
I just wish there were better wheels & tires for these kits.

Sure does - have a few Tamyia kits that were red, and no amount of primer or sealing or anything kept it from bleeding through the white that went over it... horrible idea to come in color!

I've heard that Tamiya Sand helps with red plastic bleed through, as does silver (supposedly). I've had reasonable luck with BIN/Zin Sealer.

I did the silver on this particular kit - with no joy.. It was what supposedly worked the best on covering the red plastic.. oh well.
