The AMT Ford LN8000 Short Hauler to either a LN or LNT8000 tractor using the provided frame can it be done? Or is it not going to be realistic since I've heard that the the frame height differs between the Short Hauler (taller, longer) and the Snowplow/Tractor (lower, shorter). If I can use the frame know I'd have to shorten it. If anyone can provide assistance/guidance it would be most appreciated. I'd really like to build it as the straight truck I am obsessing between the confidence to build it AND wussing out because I'm afraid I'll screw it up. Is there anyone out there who is a certified model builders psychologist? I could sure use the help. JerseeJerry5

JerseeJerry5 I built one as a ten wheel tractor to pull the old AMT box trailer from the Double trailer kit. The tractor would because of the chassis have been a short hauler or inter city unit. It was a straight forward conversion with no problems or drama. I used the rear axles and suspension from the AMT Peterbilt kit. Paul
