I am planning on building a Pete 352 kit into a double bunk 352 in the near future. I know where to purchase 352 double bunk cabs and can locate AMT Pete 352 kits. My question is, do i stretch the 352 frame or would it be better to purchase an AMT Pete 359 kit for the frame and such? If so then i can always use the 352 frame under the 359 body as a daycab local transport. I want to build this 352 to resemble my father's old truck. It was a 78-79 double bunk 352 with a V8 Cat, black paint, red frame, Alcoa aluminum wheels, dual stacks, a Texas bumper, and a fair amount of chrome and lights.

hey towguy stretching the frame is not that bad but as long as you get them square. I'm in need of another 352 kit or just cab and yes I do have the 359 as well we could work something out

I have stretched one before, it wasn't that hard. I just thought it might save time to use a 359 frame if everything would line up. I still have to pick up the kits. They had a few at the hobby and craft store last time i was there. It's just it is a 35 mile trek one way to check. I plan to also build another 352, a '76, with a drom box. It is the truck my father drove right after the black 352 double bunk.
