That looks pretty close to the C-series ford. That's because Budd made them for both Ford and Mack.

Mack's N series was in production from 1958 when it replaced the D series, to 1962 when it was replaced by the MB. The N series was offered with most of Mack's gasoline and diesel engines, along with transmissions from 5 to 20 speeds. By 1958 the flathead or as Mack refereed to it "Magnadyne" gasoline engine was all but history. All the engines available in the N series would have been in line sixes as the END-864 V-8 was introduced in 1962 and probably wouldn't have fit anyway.
