I've got a few pictures of a 1972 Kenworth that's got some heavy weathering. I thought that I'd share some pictures for those that might be interested in weathering models. This is a view as it sits. The ocean is just behind the building to the back of the truck. Therefore, there's a lot of salt in the air. The view from the front. It doesn't look like it's ready for any truck shows. A closer look at the front. Note the wires hanging from the headlight. This is an often overlooked detail. Note the offset weathering on the step. This is all for now. I do have some more pictures, but I don't want to overstep my welcome. I also don't know if anybody is even interested in pictures of this subject. If you want more, please say so, and I'll post some more. I have some of the interior and dash.

Wow! That truck sure has taken a beating in it's life. I guess their right, it's tougher in Alaska! Does that truck still run?

No, it's sat for years, and the owner is talking about cutting it up in a month or so. It's a shame, but it's really rotted bad.

Thanks for shoing us the weathered truck. It's a good reference for anyone wanting to model the truck sitting on death row. It gives me some ideas.
