Brian,
Wow, ......sigh, This truly is a great build, a huge amount of patience and perseverance, along with the decision to shelve it for a while has payed off. I agree, it is very fitting to be our first fleet truck. I get the feeling, that this will be one of your favorite trucks, once it is finished. The stumbling blocks you have overcome are unbelievable, almost to the point of funny. But you will have learned a lot from this, that you can take with confidence toward anything you build after this. Keep up the charge!
After almost all of your posts, I look down and read your sig.

I read this whole post twice today at work and now I have had time to gathered my thought about it and have to post them. I apologize ahead a time for this one cause I have the feeling it will be long winded. First off I want say for a piece of crap kit this is shaping up into a nice build. Secondly I'm glad to see tutorials that are posted are getting used on builds with in the forum. The kicker ...... Brian in our phone conversation when we talked about this build I mentioned what I would do with the grille. I in no way shape or form twisted your arm to the point of breaking it to revisit this build. Just want to make that part clear since I want to remain blamelss for a change. Personally I just think your a big glutton for punishment because if that were my build it would have visited the concrete block wall in my basement a long time ago and there wouldn't be enough built wreckers in this forum to pick up the pieces ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. What your going though with this build is exactly why I have a distain for most AMT kits . Making all of those repairs takes away from the enjoyment of the build process in my opinion. Friday afternoon I am mailing out those instructons you need. I also am sending some thing along with them that will help you with this build. I would have sent this to you 3 years ago had I thought about it. I suggest you wait until this arrives before you continue on with this build because it will really help you along . Don't ask what it is because it is top secret til you get it . Then you can post a picture of it here for every one to see what a great friend I am in helping you with this . But anyways back to the build. With all the trials and tribulations you have had on this particular build you are really pulling it off and it is a shaping up to be a sharp looking truck. As everyone else has stated here your dash looks superb. In fact I think I'll send a few dashes to you to detail out for me . Keep up the good work. Oh and by the way would you please post a tutorial on your techniques for detailing dashes in the tutorial section of this forum. Thank you.

Well, Mark, as they say, everyone has a partner in crime and you're the lucky winner for this gaggle of a build. I look forward to receiving your package in the coming days and I will be sure to let you know when it arrives. I guess you could say I am a glutton for punishment, but I also get tired of seeing started projects sitting on my desk and shelves waiting to be completed. This truck definitely fell into that category, especially after I finished the Astro kit. At least that one didin't give me the fits this truck has. I will hopefully get the fenders clearcoated again this weekend if all goes right and then I can the the hood together...again. I'm debating on what rig I want to tackle next. I am plugging away on the Kenworth for the CBP as well, but I am going to tackle another rig to take up some more time as well...

I've still got it on my bench Ray but I've been out of commission for most of the summer and haven't been able to be at my bench. I'm slowly getting back though so hopefully I can start making more headway on this wonderbucket.
