Has anyone else seen this new series on Speed yet? the 1st episode showed them restoring one of the original BJ and the Bear Kenworths. The guy who was restoring that rig also had a restored Kenworth from the old TV show Movin' On. How cool is that? Looking forward to many more episodes of this show. Looks great so far!!!!!

The Man's name is Paul Sagehorn of Sparta,Wisconsin...Believe it or not he bought the Bj and the bear kw out of a small junkyard just 5 1/2 miles from where I currently live, in Douglasville,Ga!!!!! I have already posted both trucks "in the shop"section of this forum yesterday. Paul's website is...www.tvtruckin.com , Y'all should check it out!!! Roy

Tonight's episode was awesome. They did the Texarkana to Atlanta route that was portrayed in Smokey and the Bandit. It was awesome to see Snowman's KW on the road again. Even though it was a replica, it really made me smile to see that rig with the Bandit in his Trans Am on the road again...Definitely one awesome show!!!

I watched both episodes last night .... The Cabover that was "rodded" for the serviceman was WAY COOL too.... Smokey and the Bandit KW....What can you say except, EXCELLENT.... Although the host seems a bit over the top sometimes, I hope this show lasts a long time.... Thank you Speed...

This is the first and best show of it's kind for truck nuts EVER! The host gets so excited at the sight of a nice big rig he acts like a kid on Christmas morning! I'm not sure what kind of ratings a show with such a small audience might pull, but my advice is to tape it every week.... and savor every episode while it's still on...

The first six episodes from Season #1 are available on Hulu: www.hulu.com/american-truckerYes, Rob can be a wound a little tight; even for an HGTV interior designer.

I wish he'd cover more antique truck shows.... or just older trucks in general. At least the guy knows the historical significance of a Mercury sleeper! It was cool to see him talk to the driver of that old Bullnose KW. 5,000,000 miles in the same truck..... (and I mean a REAL truck) without an accident..... Unreal....

We get the show here in Australia,I really like it but I have to agree the presenter is a bit over the top but you can see his passion for trucks.
Regards Tony.
