Oliver, That looks fantastic! you did a mighty fine job on this rig. What are you going to build next? Oh yes ,one other thing. I really like the display base you made.I would really be interested to learn how you made it, and what you used .

What are you going to build next? Well, at the moment I work on a MAN Truck & Trailer with scratchbuild loader crane. It will be shortly finished. On an area of 100 x 50cm I've shown this scene of an old industrial port / loading tracks. In addition I have a LGB track screwed on the chipboard (previously separated the thresholds and set the correct track spacing) and "NOCH" cobblestone sheets of rigid foam glued on. The joints in the paving stones were filled with fine sand. First I painted the rails with flat black (Revell Aqua Color), then treated with instant rust. The wall in the background is from "POLA" and is inserted loosely into the plate. Plants of "BUSCH" and "Fredericus REX" bring some life to the scene. "NOCH" & "POLA" sell special parts for G-scale railways. Some more pics can you see here in my forum: www.modell-laster-forum.de/t917f29-DIO-Fotoplatte-quot-altes-Industriegelaende-quot.htmlUnfortunately I have no pictures of the construction phase.
