I sat here working on one of my rebuilds and got looking around at all the stuff I have going on. Now I know I'm not the only one with multi jobs working and it got me thinking what everyone else is working on other than what there posting on here. I didn't know if this was the right forum to start this thread so if it's not you guys can put it where it should be. here's some of my way to much stuff going on pics.
1st up is my AMT Single axle cabover. Started it last summer and this is where it's progress has ended so far. My intention is to make it look like a truck you would see in California pulling 2 pups trailers with a hay load. I started this kit years ago as a CF tractor. Never finished, brought it out of the parts box last year.
Next up only twin screw: Cab and interior came off eBay. Front frames rails are of the freighliner kit mated to the back half of a AMT Kenworth cabover kit. I'm going with shortened rear full fenders(made by Ronnie aka Twinscrew)tool boxes, tanks from a Revell pete, twin straight pipes with twin air intakes. I wanna try a multi color on it.
And finaly the last thing I have going on is this old AMT Diamond Rio. A total resurection from the dead! No frame, motor wheels or tires. On the plus side I found the Cab,hood, brand newgrill, air cleaner, cab interior, marker lights, interior glass which is in great condition. I'm using a AMT T600 for the frame. Might have to do some work on the front of the fram to make it work but the frames brand new and unbuilt. I even have a motor for it. I've included a pic of which gave me the inspiration for this build. I like oldschool stuff
